Wine Spectator’s Highest Rated Pinot Noir Under $17 in 2011

2009 Momo Pinot Noir Marlborough
$1 per Bottle Shipping on 6, Free Shipping on Case

We’re always on the hunt for good quality Pinot Noir that we can put on the shelf for less than $20. It’s not as easy as it sounds, though. You can find plenty of high quality Pinot Noir over $20, and plenty of so-so Pinot Noir under $20, but it’s always most difficult finding real quality Pinot Noir under $20.

We just received some of the 2009 Momo Pinot Noir from Marlborough, New Zealand. It’s blend of three different vineyards in Marlborough. It is a delicious, silky Pinot with red and black fruits, a bit of smokiness, and spice. A truly well made Pinot Noir!

The 2009 Momo Pinot Noir was the Wine Spectator’s highest rated Pinot Noir under $17 this year and they have sampled eighty different Pinot Noirs from around the world in that time.

We’re offering the 2009 Momo Pinot Noir at $16.98 on sale, with $1 per bottle shipping on six and Free Shipping on a Case!

Wine Spectator 90 Points-- A wonderfully smooth and classy expression of ripe red fruit flavors, warm baking spices, vanillin and mineral accents. Very harmonious, with a long finish. Drink now through 2016. 7,800 cases made. -MW
