2008 Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards
Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
The 98 point 2008 Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is now in stock. This appears to be the finest Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve they have ever produced. In fact, the 98 point score from Robert Parker is the highest rating he has ever awarded the wine.
Mr. Parker’s tasting note calls the 2008 Conn Valley Reserve Cabernet “black as a moonless night” and a “remarkable wine.” With comments like that, how can you resist taking at least a bottle or two?
The only bad news is that production was cut by 40% on the 2008 because of a Spring frost. The good news for you is that we have received enough to offer you this exceptional Napa Cabernet.
Our price is $79.99 per bottle on sale, but with the short production this year, we have to impose a six bottle limit per customer.
Robert Parker 98 Points-- One of the few wineries to make a 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve that eclipsed its 2007 counterpart is Anderson’s Conn Valley. A spectacular effort that is as black as a moonless night, this full-bodied wine boasts abundant aromas of creme de cassis, camphor and subtle oak presented in a voluptuously textured, full-bodied style with terrific richness and depth. Great intensity and opulence as well as a layered mouthfeel make for a remarkable wine that should age for 20-30+ years.
