2008 Ketu Bay Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough
($13) Pale, bright yellow. Candied citrus peel, orange blossom and minerals on the nose. Supple and broad but quite dry, with a distinctly saline minerality supporting the orange blossom and dusty stone flavors. Finishes with very good subtle length. Ketu Bay is a breeding ground for sea scallops, and that mollusk would be a perfect match for this wine.
