We just received our first allotment of the 2008 Montes Purple Angel. We never get as much as we want of Purple Angel. We ask for 100 cases and we’re lucky to get a third of what we ask for. This will sell quickly.

Jon Visser, Wine Buyer 4 stars-- Deep red color. Full-bodied with great concentration with blackberries, black licorice, some toasty oak, and mocha. The fruit flavors and oak are layered with a nice silkiness from the mid-palate into the finish with ripe tannins. Another very good Purple Angel!
