Even though the Pinson family has been making wine for over 350 years they still manage to keep "under the radar", at least in the US, with regard to which fashionable Chablis to grab off the shelf.
The fact is that the wines are superb. We could talk on and on about the reasons why the wines are great... top vineyard parcels, dedicated care to the vines, great winemaking, etc.
All you need to do is taste the wines to see just how good they really are.
If you don't believe us you can take a look at Allen Meadows' reviews of the wines. He rated the Mont de Milieu 2008 at 93 points, among the highest rated premier crus in the vintage. The les Clos was rated 94 and the only les Clos that outscored Pinson were Fevre, Dauvissat, and Raveneau!
