The Innisfree 2007 is produced primarily from estate-grown fruit at Joseph Phelps, not far from where the $150 Insignia is produced. This is a deeply-colored Cab with loads of ripe blueberries, black currant, blackberries, great acidity, and long structured finish that oozes with sweetness. No dry tannins to be found here: this is juicy, big, and ripe California Cab. It's worth more than its price-tag, on par with a $40 Cab in our minds. But we certainly don't mind paying less, and we doubt you'll mind either!
