The 2003 vintage of Quinta do Noval is among the best they've produced along with 1994 and the 1997. Not only did the Wine Spectator rate it 96 points but the Wine Advocate and Stephen Tanzer both rated it 94 points as well.

Wow, the fruit just leaps from the glass! Black cherry, plum and a bit of dates. Super lush mouth feel, with lots of candied berry fruit and plum flavors. The finish went on and on and was delicious with the chocolate pecan pie and chocolate raspberry cheesecake we had for dessert. This wine will only get better as the years go by, but we couldn't wait! Obviously, I am getting a few more bottles to cellar.
